I know I'm more than a little biased, but I believe that some of these animations are exceptional. For several of the students, this is their first animation class. There's one missing from this reel, after I grade it, I'll comp it into the reel and repost the video.
The assignment was something like this (and here I'm paraphrasing myself) "Your character is doing something, then something happens that your char reacts to. Your character's reaction should involve at least one multiple smear." As you can see, their interpretations of that assignment varied widely
