I recently purchased a few rolls of well expired Kodak 200 with various expiration dates, the newest expired in 2004 and the oldest in 1987. I thought I might as well start with the 1987 vintage rolls.

I didn't really have very high expectations for this film, for all I knew it wouldn't turn up any images to speak of at all.

As you can see my compsoitions, if you can call them that, are casual to say the least. I don't believe these shots have a great deal of interest or merit, other than the age of the film.

Nonetheless, the film itself came out surprisingly well (at least I was surprised!) with some of the oranges showing really nice saturation. Who woulda thunk? Kodak 200 does seem to be a very durable film at least.

These were shot at ISO 50 with my now standard combo of old Leica Ic and 12mm Voigtlander lens. They were developed by The Darkroom in San Clemente.
