For a while now, I've been meaning to take some lumen shots, but it seems like I never have the time or the weather isn't cooperating. I've also been a bit inspired by the recent photos by and questions from reader blairman.
The weather was really pleasant this morning, and while I didn't have time, as I was getting ready for school, I thought I'd try to squeeze an exposure in.
This was a 40 minute exposure in the bright morning sunlight using my standard Cadobo cam (63mm plastic lens, 2.25" format) and expired Kodak IV paper. This shot was more than a little overexposed and I had to do quite a bit of tweaking in Lightroom to get something usable.
In my mind, the negative and positive have about equal (if not very much) merit.
I'll try to squeeze in a few more exposures as I can over the next few days, even though weekends are currently busier for me than weekdays. Hopefully I'll come up with something a little better than these.
