PROCESSES

For probably a variety of reasons, I haven't had much luck with or been very inspired by conventional photographic processes lately.

I've thought for a while now that a few lumen shots with one of my Cadobo cameras might inspire me a little bit. They sure are fun to use. Soak the paper for a little while, place the paper in the camera, set the camera up on the tripod and remove the shutter. In a half hour or so, I come back and retrieve the camera, scan the negative, invert it in Light Room and I'm good to go. In this case, these shots were "scanned" by my iphone on the Lomo DigitaLIZA stand.

As you'll see these two shots came out very differently from each other. The first is a bird bath in partial shade and the second is a group of Cosmos. The first is a 45 minute exposure and the second is a 35 minute. Both are on old expired Kodak IV black and white paper.
