Making progress on this amimation is like swimming through jello, but it is very slowly moving forward.
The character is mostly finished for now (he has no boots, but doesn't need them for the first few shots).
Thanks to Rebecca the BG matte painting is finished. My animation station has been upgraded so that I can animate in the daylight and Hamiet's vocal track is recorded.
All that remains before I can actually begin animating is to do the X-sheet (translate the sounds that the voice is making into which mouths make those sounds (those phonemes) and assign each frame of the dialog a mouth shape).
In a week, my students go on a a short Spring Break. I'm hoping to start actually animating that week if possible, although I'm not overly optimistic at this point.
