I haven't shot with one of my most loved lenses in quite a while. The Voigtlander (Cosina) 15mm Heliar Super Wide never ceases to be a source of amazement to me. If you're reading this, you probably already know that pretty much everything I photograph is quite mundane to say the least. IMHO this lens makes even the most mundane of subjects look absolutely spectacular. Spectacular mundane sounds like an oxymoron to me, nonetheless, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

As it says in the subtitle, these were all shot on Adox CMS 20 II, which has now earned the official title of my favorite film. One of the many things that I love about this film is that it's so amenable to being shot at different speeds each with a differing contrast profile. This roll was shot at ISO 12, which is my current favorite but it needs a lot of light for me to shoot handheld at that speed. I've heard of people having great results shooting it at ISO 6, but I'd have to use a faster lens like my Canon 28mm f/2.8 to do that handheld I think. I will give that a try though, hopefully sooner than later.

These shots were developed in the excellent Adotech IV, but I'm longing to try CMS with Kompostinol or Artemisianol. Soon I hope.
